A poetic response to "The sound of the Hollyhocks" by H. Garner
Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My abondoned soul,
Penetrated by her broken vows .
Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My desperation
To be reborn
To be free
Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My ambiguous fate
In the clutches of
"the Bitch of Belsen"
It was never my own
Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My tears and sorrow
Has no cure
since the day
She went away
Hollyhocks,
Tell me how,
Tell me where,
The way back home.
Hollyhocks,
My last goodbye.
My final relief.
I'm finally home.
