My Dog

My Dog

Barking all day long
Mom's little arrogant spy
I still love you so

Cold

Cold
Outside, the wind
Tearing the trees;
Dark comes into the room
Like a stranger
And we are embraced
By the endless loneliness

“All About The Grades”

Parody of "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor
-lIZZIE CACTIC

Because you know
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about that grades
'Bout that graaaades

Yeah, it's pretty clear, I’m failing English
But I can shake it, shake it
Like I'm supposed to do
'Cause I got that S. A. T. that all the Asian ace
And all the straight A’s in all the major subjects
I see them working hard copying from others
We know that stuff ain't right
C'mon now, make it stop
If you got ethic, ethic, just don’t do that
'Cause every subject you can ace it
If you work hard and don’t stop

Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your grades
She says, "Grades don’t define your future successfulness."
You know I won't be no more of competitive cheaters
So if that’s what we are into then go ahead and fail with me

Because you know
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about that grades
'Bout that grades
Hey!

I'm bringing average back
Go ahead and tell them smarty people that
No, I’m not kidding, I know you think I’m dumb
But I'm here to tell ya
Every subject I will ace it from the bottom to the top

Yeah, my mama she told me don't worry about your grades
She says, "Grades don’t define your future successfulness."
You know I won't be no more of competitive cheaters
So if that’s what we are into then go ahead and fail with me

Because you know
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about the grades
'Bout the grades, no failing
I'm all about that grades
'Bout that grades
Hey you know
Grades Are All that Matters

Falling Stars -Rainer Maria Rilke

Falling Stars

 Do you remember still
the falling stars
that like swift horses
through the heavens raced
and suddenly leaped
across the hurdles of our wishes
do you recall?
And we did make so many!
For there were countless numbers of stars:
each time we looked above
we were astounded
by the swiftness of their daring play,
while in our hearts
we felt safe and secure
watching
these brilliant bodies  disintegrate,
knowing somehow we had survived their fall.

The Matchstick Man

Midnight Edit
"The Matchstick Man"

The Metaphors

A poem based on The Metaphor by Budge Wilson

The first metaphor I wrote
With excitement and a little fear for taking a peek of literature
That
The absence of feeling echoed in the empty corridors
The ostensibly impeccable interier
But an undesirable perfection
In dedication to a place called home.

The second metaphor I wrote
With respect but also fear
That
The indifferent presence
Bitterly depicted
The unapproachable love and care
of my one and only mother

The last metaphor I wrote
With sorrows and numbness of tears
That
The torned-apart regrets with
The incomplete metaphors and
The gratitude and acknowledgement that has not yet shown
And the final farewell that never took place
All hindered by the fear of judgements
This poem
In remembrance of
Ms. Hancock

Hollyhocks, Can You Hear Me

A poetic response to "The sound of the Hollyhocks" by H. Garner

Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My abondoned soul,
Penetrated by her broken vows .

Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My desperation
To be reborn
To be free

Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My ambiguous fate
In the clutches of
"the Bitch of Belsen"
It was never my own

Hollyhocks,
Can you hear me?
My tears and sorrow
Has no cure
since the day
She went away

Hollyhocks,
Tell me how,
Tell me where,
The way back home.

Hollyhocks,
My last goodbye.
My final relief.

I'm finally home.

How to Edit Cool Photos On iPhone

If you think that being a good photograher only requires a professional, might as well expensive camera, a breathtaking view, and the right time, then you're probably wrong. Photo editing can be very important whether for a photographer or just for normal photo takers. In fact, photo editing can make a big difference on your photo even if you aren't a professional or you don't own a high resolution camera. It can be very useful for the selfie lovers too!
Here are some of the pictures I took using only an iPhone and of course, with special editings using some photography apps.

These are some of the apps that i used for photo-editing the pictures above.

This app is the ensential photo editor for any kind of photo. It can turn very ordinary pictures into those ones you've only seen it on magazines.  Vsco Camera contains great varity of filters and other editings.
This app is used generally for photo collage and special lighting or exposure effects.

This app is a very interesting and fancy blender that only blends two photos together partially yet using very smooth transition.

This app requires payment in order to download it but it is definately worth it if you want to create perfect cropping.

No. 1

The making of this picture of the house with half in balck and white and another half in full colours involved two apps listed above: Vsco Camera & Mixar.
1) First, I opened Vsco Cam and inserted the origional pictur of the house.
2) Next, I used two differet filters to create two different style of the house, in this case, I used filter LV1 to enhence the origional colour and for another one I used filter LV2 to create black&white effect.

  3) After saving both photos to my camera roll, I then opened Mixar app. You will open up to the following page. From here you could insert the two photos you just saved by clicking the two circles at the bottom.
   4) By clicking the clock-like thing at the bottom right corner, you can adjust the specific part of the picture that you would like to be blended.

No. 2

The picture of the Fiji water with a black and white backgrounded was made possible by using the Adobe Photoshop Mix & Picsart.

1) First of all, we need to create the background by using the collage function on Piscart.
2) Find two wallpaper-like picture, one completely white, another pure black.

3) Select collage-grid-squre, you will see the first grid with two rectangles in a squre.

4) Insert the plain black and white picture and adjust the border to 0. It will then create the speccial background.
5) After you create the background, open the Adobe Photoshop Mix. Insert the background picture and the picture you want to cut out, in this case would be the Fiji water picture.
6) After inserting both of your pictures, click the "cut out" selection on the bottom with a scissor sign. From here you could start cutting out the figure you desire. My suggestion would be try using the smart selection in which the system would autoatically detect the part of the picture you want to cut out. This will make everything much easier and faster.
7) This is what it looks like after you finish. Remember to save your picture to your camera roll after editing.

I hope my explanation would present you with a clearer understanding of how photo editing works and I hope after reading this, you would develope an interest in the art of photography. Feel free to leave any comments if you have any questions :)

The Shattered Cups

An explosion echoed from deep beneath the ocean,
where the wrecked submarine lies helplessly.
Far reached from help yet on the verge of hell,
The trapped crew will soon be gasping for air.
There was no time.
In the overwhelming chaos and bewilderments,
A decision was made.
With a draw to go home, or a draw to stay,
Five married men were summoned to live.
Neither was warned, neither was told,
The remaining fifteen could never go home.
No early sipping and no heeltaps,
Cups filled up with life yet give no hope.

With a face white as death yet a voice steady as his will,
The commander slowly raised his cup.
"God save our country and King!"
Cups shattered as lives drained out from the fifteen men.
The reflection of the unspoken sacrefices laying on
Pieces of shattered cups and shattered heart.
Just or not, Guilty or not,
The savior of the five yet the murderer of the fifteen.
Only the broken radio speaker questioned silently,
A hero or a murderer?
