My Winterbreak Catchup

Pshh, it's been such a long time since I'm back on Blogger. Too many things happenning recently that kept me busy.
During the winter break, me and my family went to Yellowknife to watch aurora and also enjoyed tons of fun acitivities on ice. Maybe the best way to spend your New Year's Eve is to be under a sky of green light mixed with faint pink with your family or maybe friends. It was freezing at Yellowknife and it was like approximately minus 28 degree. We had to rant super thick jackets and boots but even with that it was still so cold that frost started to form on your eyelashes the minute you go outside. We had to wait for 4 hours full to see aurora and by the time we saw it, it was already 2 a.m. in the morning.

Fishing on icee. It took me forever to break the ice since it was so thick and we just used a huge net to catch the fish. Because it was cold for the fish to move, it was very easy for us to catch tons of fishies.
Overall it was a very fun experience and I think everyone needs to see aurora at least once in their lifetime :)))))
